DEPA introduced natural gas to Greece by carrying out a major energy investment through a basic infrastructure project, which brought natural gas from Thrace to Attica through all major consumption centers in the mainland.

DEPA, with its long presence in the Greek market, is a modern and competitive Group of companies, with a dynamic presence in the energy sector and a substantial contribution to the development of the Greek economy, environmental protection and the improvement of the quality of life of local communities.

A pioneer in customer service in an open market environment, it has already developed a network of natural gas fueling stations throughout Greece, in strategic points of Attica, Central, Northern, Southern and Western Greece, a network which continues to grow expansion in order to meet the needs of all natural gas-powered vehicles. More specifically, CNG stations for the supply of vehicles with natural gas operating in Attica, are located in Kifissia, N. Philadelphia, Anthousa, Ano Liossia, Agios Ioannis Rentis, Ilioupoli, Koropi and Aspropyrgos. In Thessaloniki there are stations in Pylea, Stavroupoli and Nea Magnesia, whereas there is one (1) station in Kozani, one (1) in Ioannina, one (1) in Volos, one (1) in Lamia, three (3) in Larissa - one in the city centre and two in Evaggelismos Car Service Station - and two (2) in Psathopyrgos Car Service Station (Aigio). Stations under construction are located in Chalkida, Igoumenitsa and Schimatari Car Service Station. Also, gas stations in Patras, Attica (3 gas stations), Xanthi, Komotini, Karditsa, Veria and Thessaloniki (4th gas station) are in the licensing process.
